An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join our client as a Manager in the HIV Standards Support Team on an 18-month contract. The team are responsible for supporting Health Care Professionals and Allied Healthcare Professionals to deliver service improvements to achieve national standards of care for People Living with HIV

Essential Duties and Job Functions

· Utilise knowledge and experience to support HCP's to identify gaps between their performance and national clinical standards (BHIVA/NHIVNA)

· Utilises credible levels of HIV therapeutic disease working knowledge to promote better standards of care for People Living with HIV

· Develop and deliver HIV education programmes supporting HCP's to understand the importance of long-term health in HIV through 1:1 and meeting activity.

· Utilise knowledge and experience to support HCP's implementation of best practice standards and health assessments into all HIV care

· Develop, approve and deploy appropriate resources to support service improvement

· Generate ideas to help create new targeted education programmes.

· Work in collaboration with outside partner organisations/staff to support HCP's.

· represent the company at professional events and promote service improvement at such events.

· Must be able to work cooperatively with internal team members on various cross-functional projects

· Build and extend relationships with key customers to enhance delivery of care through supporting audit, education, and service improvement.

· Completes necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner e.g. updating customer database, expenses, G360 (call reporting system) .

· Complies with all external regulations and laws and all internal policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

· Professional qualification including but not limited to HCP/ AHP

· Must be self-motivated but also able to work successfully with other employees

· Takes ownership of goals set and agreed with line manager.

· Relevant HIV knowledge is essential

· Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship building skills is required

· Demonstrable expertise in delivering clinical audit, service evaluation and continuous service improvement within a HIV setting

· Demonstrable expertise in congress publications preferable

· Demonstrable evidence of project management preferable
