Location: Boston, USA

Salary range $150,000- 185,000pa plus benefits

i-Pharm are partnered with a global pharmaceutical company which are a leader in Rare Diseases and a range of other therapy areas. The role will be to join as a Director of Product Corporate Communications.

The role will be to join a global business of innovators and leading industry experts, who are working to improve the world for patients with Rare Disease.

The position of Director, Product Corporate Communications will be joining the Rare Disease, Cardiology and Metabolic division.

The role will involve:

Leading the communication activities to increase awareness and understanding of our medicines and mission to improve the lives of people living with rare diseases.

Provide strategic counsel to support the strategic communication for the pipeline and portfolio assets to drive positive business impact and improved awareness of the medicines.

Develop press releases, key message documents, Q&As, standby statements for key brand milestones

A key element of the role is to work with cross functional teams in the Cardio & Metabolic divisions to lead the preparedness and post-market engagement initiatives

Work with critical projects and long term initiatives together

Digital and new technology expert or experience of working with the tech departments to support with creation of compelling content.

Budget management

Internal communication management and external agency management.

About you:

The role will be an exciting position for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team, and cross functional, with an outward vision of the medical care and improving patent lives.

Exposure to working in a PR. Communications role within a Pharma/ Biotech/ Med Dev or Public Heathcare public relations agency would be highly sought after

The role will be involved with product launches, therefore a history of portfolio of products which have been launch in the the US/ globally would be beneficial

Interpersonal skills are important- the ability to influence possibility with a range of personalities, work in a fast paced environment and work with a range of leaders.

Rare Disease, Cardiology, Biologics product experience would be beneficial.

The position is based in Boston, you must have the right to work in the USA or have the right to work/ visa application in process.
