Position: Finance - Accounting Manager

Location: Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork, Ireland
Contract Length: 16 Months
Work Structure: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week
Pay Rate: €48 - €54/hour

Join our client's multinational bio-pharmaceutical company as a Finance - Accounting Manager! As a Finance - Accounting Manager, you will contribute to critical financial operations and play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in their accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual statutory audit and preparation of Financial Statements under IFRS.
  • Monthly corporate reporting under US GAAP, including P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, gross to net reporting, and other SEC External reporting requirements.
  • Timely and accurate review and posting of month-end close and accounting transactions, including P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation, and resolution.
  • Participate in the accounting close and financial reporting process, including ledger closing tasks at month end.
  • Partner with non-financial personnel and business partners effectively.
  • Manage accounting and reporting requirements under US and local GAAP.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with experience in multinational corporation environments.
  • In-depth understanding of general accounting policies, US GAAP, IFRS, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business needs into pragmatic solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, multi-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Experience in multinational manufacturing clients, biotech, or pharmaceuticals industry preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP S/4 Hana is advantageous.
