Are you a highly skilled, technical, and experienced Health Economics Senior Manager, who is looking to join a new and challenging project?
We are seeking a 'Health Economics Senior Manager' who can be accountable by leading UK&I Health Economics and Reimbursement team/function, whilst ensuring optimal approaches are developed and adopted to secure medicine access and reimbursement across the UK&I. Lead on shaping the client's response to external HTA strategy and policy levers with requirement for high impact engagement with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
Health Economics Senior Manager - Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of industry-leading National Access (including pricing) strategies to enable reimbursement throughout the UK and Ireland (NICE, SMC, NCPE).
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement -Define critical policy influences/levers relating to the client's HTA and reimbursement priorities.
- Develop and lead the plan for reimbursement body engagement in conjunction with wider industry associate strategies aimed at delivering policy change (aligned to VPAG and pathways for change).
- Policy/Decision Making - Identifies and shares relevant insights within UK&I and GVA to shape/influence policy development and focus - anticipates future trends/approaches.
- Develop and implement innovative and tailored solutions to overcome access barriers and optimize patient access to the client's products.
- Support optimal approach to in country launch preparation.
- Represent UK/I function on global strategic and implementation teams as required.
- Strategic leadership of the Health Economics and Reimbursement team ensuring current and future capabilities are aligned to UK&I and GVA needs.
Health Economics Senior Manager - Qualifications/Requirements:
- Doctorate degree and 8 years of directly related experience; or Master's degree and 10 years of directly related experience.
- Degree in Health Economics or related discipline.
- First-hand experience in leading and delivering HTAs across UK/Ireland (NICE, SMC, NCPE).
- Excellent technical skills in evidence synthesis, health economics and critical appraisal.
- Strong understanding of payer environment in UK & Ireland, including reimbursement, pricing, and contracting, value drivers, and HTA policy.
- Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to shape strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and engage in productive debate and collaboration with senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of strategic pricing and contracting, including innovative approaches such as risk-sharing deals.
- Solid appreciation for cultural diversity.
