Cost Control Engineer – 12-Month Contract
Location: Lebanon
Our client is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer with a strong background in cost control, financial analysis, and project forecasting to join their dynamic project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, analyse, and report project cost performance and forecasts.
- Perform data entry and updates in SAP for purchase orders, change orders, commitments, and actuals.
- Generate both routine and ad-hoc cost reports to support decision-making.
- Support cost engineers and project managers with financial tracking and reconciliation.
- Prepare budget updates and cash flow projections.
- Identify discrepancies and work collaboratively to ensure data accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cost control or project cost engineering, ideally within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven history of automating multi-tab Excel sheets to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
- High proficiency in data management and analytical tools for financial planning and forecasting.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel (including advanced functions and data analysis tools).
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
