The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Support portfolio growth opportunities for assigned clients.
  • Contribute to the assessments of studies for operational feasibility
    • Initial forecasting of resource needs and development of the initial operational plan
    • Participate in development of study budget and input to proposal text for client bid
  • Direct and oversee delivery for studies for assigned clients:
    • Global oversight of delivery of the portfolio of projects to a client
    • Develop and manage high level project plan
    • Participate in the development and management of study budgets and overall study financial health
    • Analyze project risks and mitigation strategies.
    • Interact with sponsors, clients, and partners in governance relationships and problem resolution
    • Report progress internally to management and to Client
    • Acts as escalation point for delivery issues on the project; escalates to VP / Client Lead as needed
    • Support change orders and with appropriate stakeholders
    • Support preparation for and presentation during project delivery review meetings
  • For Clients:
    • Ensuring consistent delivery across portfolio
    • Lead, support / participate in Client specific initiatives
  • Support development of Clinical Operations & Project Delivery
    • Lead, support / participate in departmental initiatives as needed
  • Develop, implement, and standardize departmental workflows and processes

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • CRO Project Management experience at the SPM or AD levels.
  • People management experience
  • Experience leading the delivery of multiple/complex projects/assignments in a matrix environment to demanding deadlines with minimal direction/leadership
  • Strong experience in critical path management, scenario planning, budget forecasting / management, risk identification / management, and experience with the variability of assumptions supporting robust quality clinical research services plans and the ability to deliver to plan.
  • Experience in organization-wide problem solving and financial & analytical modelling and proven application of high-quality strategic analysis and ability to develop strategic/commercial recommendations
  • Experience employing highly effective decision-making strategies in resolving issues and conflicting options.

Education And Experience

  • Undergraduate degree
  • PMP certificate is a plus
  • Expereince in project delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Agile and distributed decision-making
  • Experience of leading in a global project management function where people are challenged, developed and talent management.
  • Highly effective influencing and negotiations skills in challenging, ambiguous and/or changing environments.
  • Demonstrated skill operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty.
  • Possess negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build credibility quickly across a diverse range of functional teams, seniority, and geography.
  • Business and financial acumen.
