Territory Manager - Medical Device Reprocessing

About the Role:

Our client is a leader in sterilants, and disinfectants used in reprocessing and cleaning within the Endoscopy and CSSD arena. This position is responsible for the growing and maintaining the NSW & ACT territory and will suit an experienced Territory Manager or Endoscopy / CSSD Nurse looking to move into medical device sales. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will have the autonomy to build this territory yourself with support from the team. You will work closely with Clinicians including Endoscopy, CSSD, NUM's, Biomedical and procurement.

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Pursuing opportunities to drive sales growth in the territory
  • Achieving sales targets and maintaining a growing customer data base
  • Development and implementation of an effective territory management plan
  • Organise and participate in seminars, demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Customer problem solving
  • Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas to maintain optimum level of exposure and effective time management
  • Perform all necessary administrative work
  • Recognise and understand competitors, products, features, strengths in relation to company's products.

Skills & Experience:

  • Must have a proven background of sales within the medical device industry or nurse with endoscopy experience and a passion for sales
  • Strong understanding of NSW public and private hospitals
  • Knowledge of Endoscopy, Infection Control, Sterilising services and CSSD is highly regarded
  • A passion to proactively provide a high standard of customer service
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiating and computer skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge along with a solid understanding of the human anatomy
  • Excellent and diligent CRM data management and record keeping
