Our client, a leading clinical trial business, are searching for a Project Manager and be a key player in their new and expanding business management team. Their successes and rapid growth with recent site expansions have created this brand-new department, and they need a strategic thinker to help grow and develop the business further.
You will be working alongside the business senior management team to implement new strategies and grow/develop their portfolio. This role offers huge progression opportunities being one of the first hires into this new department, and offers the chance to be more commercially involved.
About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to plan recruitment with each sponsor and integrate these plans into research proposals.
- Leverage sponsor relationships.
- Maintain contact with key clients, ensuring adherence to business development protocols and sharing critical timelines and information for site selection.
- Stay ahead of market trends and sponsor information to identify new therapeutic indications or clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise business development protocols, growing strong client relationships.
- Execute efficient work-flows at every level of sponsor engagement.
- Maximise feasibility opportunities and ensure comprehensive client relationship management.
- Utilise CRM system for oversight of lead pipelines, feasibility trends, and client engagement.
- Provide quarterly updates for board reporting, summarising client and lead activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a client-facing, commercially driven role within the clinical trials or a related industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to understand market directions and stay updated on industry trends.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools.
