About the Role
Are you experienced in operating complex machinery and passionate about contributing to the safe, high-quality production of essential medicines? We are currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Production & Packaging Operator (Level II) to join our team.
In this role, you will perform and support end-to-end process-based operations, ensure product quality and safety compliance, and play a key role in maintaining efficiency across manufacturing and packaging lines.
Youโll operate various machines according to strict SOPs, GMP guidelines, and quality standards. Your experience and initiative will allow you to solve disruptions independently, while also supporting and guiding newer team members.
Key Responsibilities
1. Medicine Manufacturing & Packaging
- Operate, monitor, and adjust equipment and automated processes in accordance with SOPs.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with product and machine standards.
- Prepare and perform start-up procedures and process-related tasks.
- Assist with line and process validations, and help maintain production flow and planning.
- Halt production when necessary and escalate deviations appropriately
2. Equipment Cleaning & Conversion
- Carry out equipment changeovers, cleaning, and disinfection tasks.
- Perform first-line equipment maintenance.
- Ensure hygiene and equipment readiness across production environments
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Record production and quality control data accurately in logs and protocols.
- Document cleaning, conversions, and any deviations or issues.
- Review and maintain relevant documentation in compliance with GMP
4. Functional Supervision
- Act as a go-to person for new or less experienced Operators (I).
- Provide training, instruction, and day-to-day guidance.
- Contribute to effective communication and team coordination.
5. Quality & Process Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and share frontline insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to help optimize processes and product quality.
Requirements
- MBO level 3/4 (or equivalent)
- Prior experience operating machines in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment
- Proficient in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable using Production Control Systems
- Ability to wear a full-face mask and other PPE as required
- No facial hair in situations requiring a sealed respirator mask

Working Conditions
- This role involves working in a multi-shift system (2-shift, 3-shift, or 5-shift)
- Working conditions allowance may apply
- Full PPE and mask usage required in certain production zones
