Key Account Manager – Medical Nutrition - WA
We are recruiting on behalf of a global healthcare leader for a Key Account Manager / Territory Manager role within the Medical Nutrition sector. This is a state-based position suited to a commercially minded dietitian who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition solutions.
This is a 12 month contract initially with potential for extension.
About the role
This position is responsible for driving strategic growth and managing key customer relationships across hospital, aged care, wholesaler, and community channels. You will be instrumental in building long-term partnerships and influencing clinical decision-making by promoting high-quality, ethical nutrition products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement key account strategies to drive sales, profit, and market share growth
- Build strong, sustainable partnerships with hospitals, aged care facilities, and community care providers
- Use customer insights and analytics to inform account planning and territory development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to execute brand and sales strategies
- Become a trusted advisor by educating stakeholders on the clinical value of medical nutrition
What we’re looking for
- Degree-qualified in Nutrition / Dietetics with APD status (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 years' sales or commercial experience within the healthcare sector
- Strong understanding of the hospital and/or aged care system
- Proven relationship builder with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Self-motivated with strong business acumen and territory planning skills
Highly regarded experience
- Tender or contract management within public hospitals
- Sales experience in nutrition or a science-based field
- Knowledge of community care services such as NDIS or homecare
Additional requirements
- Full Australian driver’s license and ability to travel within the state
- Police Check and Working With Children Check
