Join a leading medical device organisation committed to improving patient outcomes through innovation and technology. We’re seeking a Finance Analyst to join a high-performing Melbourne-based team on a 12 month contract with genuine potential for the role to become permanent.
The Opportunity
In this hands-on and collaborative role, you’ll be a key part of the finance team, supporting business performance through insightful analysis and accurate reporting. You’ll partner closely with both commercial and operational teams to ensure financial data drives smart decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage standard month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Take ownership of the P&L, ensuring accuracy and providing variance analysis.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver sales reporting and customer performance insights, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the Demand & Supply team to align forecasts and business planning.
About You
You’ll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working across teams to add commercial value.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CA qualification desirable).
- Prior experience within the medical device, healthcare, or FMCG sectors preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
