i-Pharm Consulting are seeking exceptional clinical development strategist for the newly created position of Therapy Area Medical Strategy Exec Director/VP for a Global CRO group.
We are seeking experienced physician-scientists with extensive clinical development strategy design across all phases of drug development in Neurology.
The role will be an individual contributor position, engaging globally with a matrix team of medical directors and commercial teams, to contribute to the commercial positioning, defining development strategies and subsequent commercial growth of your therapeutic area.
Responsibilities:
- Medical Strategy Development - provide clinical insight across clinical development landscape. Develop strategy for proposals and across asset portfolios and aid strategic decision-making by utilising your clinical background.
- Business Development and Customer Engagement - work with the commercial teams on customer engagement, early customer relationship building, attend conferences and continue to develop your existing network.
- Proposal Development - pre-award: proposal writing and strategy, post-award: relationship liaison role (not day-to-day operational delivery).
Who we're looking for:
MD qualification with board eligibility (this can include non-US residencies/fellowships)
Clinical practice experience
Extensive experience in leading Neurology clinical development programs
Senior Director/Exec Director/VP experience level from industry (Pharma, biotech or CRO)
Sales oriented personality
This role offers remote working within the USA.
Salary range is between $300-380k basic + bonus + package.
