About the Opportunity
Supporting cutting-edge clinical development programs in dermatology.
In this essential role, you'll provide medical oversight for active dermatology studies across multiple indications including Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, and Hidradenitis Suppurativa, with a focus on early clinical development. You'll make an immediate impact on patient safety and data integrity while working with a collaborative, experienced global team.
What You'll Do
- Medical Monitoring Excellence: hands-on medical oversight for assigned clinical studies, serving as primary medical contact for sponsor clients
- Strategic Sponsor Engagement: meet monthly with sponsor medical teams to review data and discuss study issues from a medical perspective
- Cross-Functional Leadership: collaborate with medical scientists, clinical surveillance teams, rater training specialists, project directors, and CRAs to ensure study delivery excellence
- Risk Mitigation: present identified trends, issues, and mitigation strategies to customers and project teams to minimize risks to subject safety and data integrity
- Safety Oversight: medical input and oversight in support of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities
- Therapeutic Training: deliver training to project team members and clinical site staff as needed
What You Bring
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- MD, DO or internationally recognized equivalent
- Board eligible or board certified in Dermatology (current certification not required)
- 2+ years clinical practice experience treating dermatology patients
- 2+ years pharmaceutical/CRO industry experience
- Proven hands-on medical monitoring experience in dermatology
- Strong knowledge across core dermatological indications
Desirable:
- CRO experience preferred
- FDA regulatory knowledge
- Customer-facing experience with sponsor interactions
- Experience with Medical Monitoring of early phase Psoriasis / Atopic Dermatitis trials

Compensation & Benefits
- Medical Director: $250K-$270K base + bonus + benefits
- Senior Director: $270K-$290K base + bonus + benefits
- Executive Director: $290K-$335K base + bonus + benefits
