Job Title : C&Q Utilities Engineer

Initial 12 month contract, W2 ONLY

Fully on site, Lebanon, Indiana

A confidential client in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking a C&Q Utilities Engineer to support a major API manufacturing project in Lebanon, Indiana. This is a high-impact role for an experienced professional with a strong background in utility systems startup and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing Operation Verification Test Scripts.

• Design and implement Startup Logic and handover prioritization strategies.

• Support startup activities including flushing, pressure testing, and system livening.

• Apply and enforce LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

• Manage Utility Commissioning Engineers during installation verification and operation verification phases.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and compliant execution.

Required Experience:

• 5–10+ years of experience in Utility Systems Startup within Pharmaceutical or Oil & Gas industries.

• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and manage complex technical deliverables.

• Familiarity with DeltaV, Kneat, and Performance Qualification (PQ) processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Experience working in regulated environments with a focus on safety and compliance.

• Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, site-based setting.
