Contract Specialist

Job Title: Contract Specialist

Location: Remote (UK Based)

Contract: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate clinical and commercial agreements including Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs/NDAs), Vendor Agreements, and Consulting Agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Clinical Operations, Legal, Regulatory) and external parties (e.g., sponsors, CROs, sites) to ensure alignment on contractual terms.
• Advise stakeholders on contract terms, risk, and IP-related matters.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH-GCP), and industry best practices.
• Track contract progress and maintain contract databases to ensure timely execution and documentation.
• Support the continuous improvement of templates, tools, and contract processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract management or legal support, preferably within a clinical, pharmaceutical, or biotech organization.
• Strong understanding of contract law and intellectual property principles.
• Familiarity with clinical research terminology and contract types (CTAs, CDAs, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with contract management systems is an asset
