Community Affairs Manager
Location: Field-based, covering Scotland & Northeast England
Contract Type: 12-month contract
Work Schedule: Full-time hybrid role 3 days on site
Rate: £400-£450PD Inside IR35
Description: Our client is a leading bio pharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering, developing, and commercialising innovative medicines. Their focus includes HIV/AIDS, liver diseases, cancer, inflammation, and respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent our products and services to health care professionals within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with territory team partners to prepare business plans and assign activities to achieve goals.
- Monitor progress and business plans, providing regular performance updates.
- Build and extend business relationships with key customers.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous pharmaceutical hospital account experience is essential.
- Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- BA or BS degree with 2-5 years of successful selling experience in the pharmaceutical or health care industry.
- Professional qualification, including but not limited to HCP/AHP.
Desired Skills:
- Relevant therapeutic working knowledge is desirable.
- Demonstrable evidence of project management and service redesign.
- Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Resilient profile with the ability to deliver in an ambiguous environment.
- Curious with learning agility.
- Operationally excellent and organised with a systematic approach to prioritisation.
- Process-oriented to achieve business objectives
