i-Pharm GxP are a specialist consulting partner to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
We're currently looking to engage with an experienced Automation Engineer to work at the forefront of digital transformation in biopharma manufacturing and lead impactful automation projects that enable life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify hardware, software, and network architecture to meet manufacturing goals aligned with product specifications.
- Design, test, and deploy automated workflows and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Partner with Business and IT-OT leads to enhance process automation through IT-supported applications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project objectives.
- Resolve equipment and system compatibility issues to support shopfloor applications.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for scalability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in automation engineering and IT/OT solutions in manufacturing.
- Equipment integration expertise with IoT applications (Ignition, OPC UA, PTC Kepware).
- Hands-on with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley), controls, robotics
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
