We are looking for a contractor with deep Emerson DeltaV design experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments. This role will focus on end-to-end DCS configuration and system architecture supporting process equipment including bioreactors, purification systems, and chromatography skids.

You will operate within a capital project team, working closely with process engineering, CQV, and system integrators to deliver compliant, scalable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DeltaV system design for upstream and downstream manufacturing equipment including reactors, purification skids, and chromatography systems
  • Develop and review Functional Specifications, Module Design Specifications, and Control Narratives
  • Configure DeltaV control modules, equipment modules, phases, and batch strategies aligned with ISA-88 principles
  • Design system architecture including controllers, I/O, network topology, and interface points to PLC and third-party skids
  • Ensure automation design aligns with cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation lifecycle requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience designing and configuring Emerson DeltaV systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience supporting bioreactors, purification processes, and chromatography skids
