The Role:

As an Associate Director (Recruiting) at our Sydney office, you will play a pivotal role in directing, motivating, and inspiring your division to achieve its short, medium, and long-term goals. This is a senior position with significant responsibilities, including:

  • Innovative Sales Tools: Develops and transforms ideas into effective sales strategies.
  • Client Figurehead: Acts as the primary representative for major accounts.
  • P&L Management: Takes full responsibility for divisional profitability and marketing budget.
  • Industry Representation: Represents the company in industry publications and events.

  • Long-term Relationships: Maintains key industry relationships to foster long-term business opportunities.
  • Pitch Leadership: Leads key pitches and tender processes.
  • Change Management: Demonstrates effective change management at a senior level.
  • Industry Expertise: Recognized as an expert, sought for advice by clients.
  • Motivational Leadership: Inspires and motivates by identifying opportunities and succeeding in challenging situations.
  • Decision-Making: Makes tough, effective decisions in complex environments.
  • Industry Contacts: Maintains extensive industry contacts, enhancing credibility and gravitas.
  • Event Organization: Organizes and facilitates candidate network events.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyzes account performance, taking decisive action as needed.
  • Account Management: Makes executive decisions on account management, including terminating relationships.
  • Performance Management: Links performance management to succession planning and leads performance evaluations.
  • Feedback Culture: Promotes a culture of honest and open feedback.
  • Business Direction: Understands and contributes to the long-term direction of the business at the board level.
  • Leadership: Acts as a role model, fostering a high-performing culture.
  • Strategic Planning: Translates business strategy into clear, achievable goals.
  • Financial Performance: Monitors strategy and financial performance, suggesting strategic adjustments.
  • Hiring Decisions: Authorizes hiring and termination decisions with logical judgment.
