About the Role

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the Victorian team in the fast-evolving field of Cardiac Rhythm Technologies. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, shaping strategy, and developing a motivated, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a successful sales team across Victoria, driving performance and growth
  • Translate market and sales data into actionable strategies and territory plans
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Oversee tenders and contract negotiations in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Manage recruitment, coaching, development, and succession planning within the team
  • Ensure budget and expense control in line with financial and operational policies
  • Uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards in all field operations


Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Business, or related fields
  • Extensive knowledge of the cardiovascular or medical device industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a complex healthcare environment
  • 5+ years experience managing high-performing sales or technical teams
  • Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare system and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
