Stephen McAnaney

Stephen McAnaney is the founder and CEO of i-Pharm, with more than two decades of experience in life sciences recruitment.

His career began in 2003 at SThree Group in London, where he helped establish the group’s first UK pharmaceutical recruitment business. That experience showed him the need for a recruitment partner focused entirely on life sciences and committed to quality of service, and in 2008 he launched i-Pharm to meet it. Many of the clients who partnered with i-Pharm in those first years still rely on the business today to help them develop treatments that change patients’ lives.

Since then, Stephen has led i-Pharm’s growth into iPA Talent Group, a global group of specialist brands with offices across the UK, the U.S. and Australia, setting the group’s strategic direction with a focus on long-term growth and a culture that puts its people at the centre.
