Opportunity for a Microbiology Team Leader to join a leading batch manufacturer and provider of specialised medical products.
As the Microbiology Team Leader, your primary responsibility will encompass the comprehensive oversight of daily operations within the microbiology department. This pivotal role involves a multifaceted approach, ensuring seamless execution of essential tasks such as sample testing, meticulous data analysis, stringent quality control measures, and steadfast adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy, reliability, and reproductibility of laboratory results.
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing microbiology research and laboratory practices.
- Identify potential risks associated with research activities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve laboratory processes, methodologies, and work flows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related Science.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
