Position Overview: I am seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager to join the Melbourne team. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of their women's health portfolio, with a focus on a revolutionary endometriosis treatment. This is an exciting opportunity to manage key accounts, build strong relationships, and contribute to the growth of the company in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and market share for the women's health portfolio, with a focus on a new endometriosis treatment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including gynaecologists, obstetricians, and other specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on the benefits and usage of the products, positioning them as the preferred treatment option for endometriosis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to women's health and endometriosis treatments.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for optimization.
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and events to promote the products and build brand awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of success in key account management.
  • Special interest or experience in women's health, particularly in the field of endometriosis treatments, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the Melbourne region and attend occasional national meetings or events as required.
