Business Development Manager - ANZ - Coronary MedTech

Location: Melbourne

Our client is an Australian MedTech company pioneering innovative technologies in the assessment and treatment of coronary artery disease. Due to strong growth plans throughout ANZ and APAC, we require an experienced and credible Business Development professional to drive business expansion with a strong focus on the Eastern Seaboard. Travel will also be required throughout APAC.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.


  • We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join an Australian company specializing in cutting-edge solutions for coronary artery disease.
  • Our client employs advanced technology to detect and diagnose coronary artery disease, including plaques, stenosis, and calcification. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the coronary space and a robust network of KOLs throughout ANZ.
  • The primary focus of this role is to grow the business within the assigned remit through effective networking and relationship building.
  • The successful candidate will leverage their previous experience and existing network-including KOLs, healthcare groups, and senior procurement leaders-to introduce our product and increase market awareness. Responsibilities include establishing sales strategies, developing relationships with relevant KOLs, and collaborating with commercial and technical teams to build key partnerships within the APAC region, ultimately driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional connections in the coronary space and the confidence to grow the business from day one. Previous experience working in the MedTech space, particularly in launching new products and developing new business, is highly favored.


  • Proven experience in developing business in the MedTech space is essential
  • Strong exposure to the coronary field with a well-established network of KOLs in ANZ
  • Previous experience selling coronary products with strong clinical expertise
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to launch new products and develop business in ANZ or APAC
  • Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time throughout APAC and abroad
  • At least 10 years of industry experience with 5+ years in a senior Business Development or managerial position
  • Driven professional with a desire to succeed and a can-do attitude
