Our Berlin based client approached i-Pharm to assist in hiring a permanent Qualified Person for solid dosage form API products.
The role was fully site based in Berlin with regular shift work and had been open for 6 months. The role had been released to another agency 6 months previously for a traditional 3 Stage Retainer but remained unfilled and highly urgent.
i-Pharm offered to conduct the search on a "Success Weighted Retainer" with 1/3 of the projected fee paid up front as an engagement fee and the balance payable on acceptance of employment contract by the chosen candidate. We submitted 3 candidates, each of whom were interviewed, 2 were taken to final, and the preferred candidate was offered and accepted. The entire process took 6 weeks from initial instruction to acceptance of contract.
Our Basel based client was seeking to hire a new Head of Small Molecules.
The client sought to move away from a traditional core focus on antibodies and develop their small molecule platform. They wanted to hire one person immediately but also to have a target list of additional candidates for future use.
i-Pharm identified a global long list of 22 potentially suitable people, each of whom had been spoken to at length about the role but were not made aware at this point who the client was. From the long list the client wanted 3 people to be approached.
